MetroWest Building Officials Association is an ICC chapter that provides education and an understanding of the built environment.
About MWBOA Chapter
MWBOA is a professional non-profit organization and an ICC Chapter dedicated to providing exceptional education for building officials from across the State. MetroWest members have been regularly meeting since 1983. As a member of the MWBOA, you receive the benefits of earning CEU’s for the State, and as an ICC Chapter since 2013 allows the members an opportunity to receive credits for their ICC CBO certification, as required for maintaining their certifications.
To advance the professional competence, ethical standards, and collaborative effectiveness of code enforcement officials through education, information sharing, and unified advocacy. We are committed to protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public by promoting excellence in building inspection, code administration, and enforcement; fostering strong professional relationships among members and industry partners; and supporting the ongoing exchange of knowledge related to building codes, technologies, and practices—past, present, and future.
